Each bed contains one vegetable group. My vegetable groups are:
Group A - Nightshades, Carrot Family, Okra, Sweet Potato, Beet Family
Group B - Squashes, Brassicas (fall only), Corn, and Alliums
Group C - Legumes, Green Manure/Cover Crops, Grains
I rotate the beds each spring. I use companion planting, my version of wide-row intensive planting, and I'm organic.
This chart shows what is currently planted (or will soon be planted) in each bed.
I noticed that you have several varieties of beans all growing together. Do you save seed? If so, do you have any problems with crossing since they grow so close together?
