  1. Wow, that looks great. I love the pattypan squash. I believe I planted some this year but unless it is the one squash plant that hasn't produced yet, mine didn't come up.

    1. The squash bugs seem to love this plant the most, so we'll see how much more I get.

  2. You've got okra already? Wow! My plants are just starting to put on some leaves and height now that we are experiencing 90 degree weather (F) every day.

    1. They are trickling in slowly by the handful. Soon enough, they'll be coming in by the bowl full.

  3. It seems amazingly early for you to be harvesting butternut squash, ours are never ready before mid Autumn at the earliest. Oh I'm missing tomatoes and looking at yours is making me very jealous.

    1. The butternut harvest was an accident. It was laying on the ground unattached, so we may have knocked it off while hunting squash bugs...not sure...

  4. What a fun way to show the harvest! Nice variety of items and I too was surprised to see a butternut in the mix - but it certainly looks like it was mature.

  5. What a great harvest! I am always impressed with other's harvests in zones south of us and how early you get tomatoes, squash and such.

  6. I too am surprised at your butternut squash and I also see a pumpkin. What do you do to write on the photos?

    1. I used Adobe Photo Elements. You just open the pic in the editor and insert text boxes wherever. You can also combine pics, very easy and quick.

Sometimes I use power point. You insert the picture in the slide, then add text boxes as needed (can also place multiple pics on one slide). When you are done, just save the slide as a picture (jpg). Its easy as well, but requires the extra step of inserting the file into a slide.

You can do this exact same thing in Paint (which all windows computers have). The only thing about paint is that the picture will show up in its pix size, so you may have to do a lot of manual resizing to get it to fit on your screen.
